A BIG A*L*O*T THANK YOU
October 14, 2000
At recent sales, we've been fortunate to have items donated for the benefit of our Association. We want to let those donors know that our Association appreciates their thoughtfulness and generosity. So a big A*L*O*T “Thanks” goes out to:[ Back to Index ]Cody and Erin McCallum, Alta Genetics Breed Representatives, Alta Genetics, Whitewright, TX, James Brown, Brown Angus, Doddridge, AR, Shire Angus, Roger Shire, Medford, OK, who donated bull semen to be auctioned off for the benefit of the A*L*O*T Association. Tom, Nancy and Amy Harris, Harris Hideaway Ranch, McKinney, TX who gave a cash donation to our Association. Arthur Durret, P.E., and June Hanson Durett of A. H. Durrett Ranch, Arcadia, LA, who donated swings and a rocking chair.
These gifts represent a substantial increase in the A*L*O*T bank account. Again, thanks so much for your gifts
For several years A*L*O*T has sponsored a bull sale for its members to market their bulls. However, the past few sales have not had strong support from association members. We would like suggestions on how to improve this sale: stricter consignment rules, change the date, or just discontinue the bull sale? Please contact one of the officers or directors of the association if you have any thoughts on this sale. Contact information is available in this newsletter or on the A*L*O*T internet page at www.skally.net/alot/. We're a volunteer, member-driven organization and we need some input from the members on this subject.[ Back to Index ]
